House of Charm

Designed by Aesthetic Apparatus, I really like those retro bags!
"To get that call from Mitch Nash of Blue Q is like getting the purple heart in some design circles. We got that call from him a few years back. We made a few cool quickie Blue Q promo items with him that inexplicably expanded into this whole line of bath products based on the concept of a sweet but clueless quasi-stylish possibly-closeted hair stylist name Steve, and his House of Charm. It's used as a case-study in branding textbooks across the nation."

True North

Thanks to Jelena from Attention USA for sending in this award winning packaging.
Wolff Olins New York teamed up with Frito-Lay to create a fresh, unique brand in a new category - nuts. The result was TrueNorth, a healthy snack built for young boomers. In addition to launching the new product, TrueNorth asked people to share their "true north," stories about following their life passion. The winner was Lisa Nigro, who created Inspiration Cafe to serve Chicago's homeless with dignity and respect (her story was featured in a 60 second commercial that ran during the Academy Awards).

Feel It - Mixed Emotions

Another very interesting concept from Nine99 Design, check out their grass packaging too!
“Feel it” is a branding for a fictional, chemical, emotion shop. The pharmaceutical styled shop sells liquid compounds of a range of emotions that varies from basic feelings (Anticipation, Joy) to more complex ones (Optimism = Anticipation + Joy). The molecular imagery of each package (shape and color) change according to the desired emotion.

Karlsson's Vodka

Hans Brindfors, one of Sweden's best-known art directors and designers, designed these classic "laboratory" vodka bottle for KARLSSON’S VODKA.
"As a statement, the first distillation of KARLSSON'S VODKA was poured into a classic laboratory bottle to underscore that it was a trial: could vodka really be made from virgin new potatoes and could the properties of the golden potatoes be transferred to the character of vodka? The idea of using a laboratory bottle came from Hans Brindfors, the renowned Swedish design guru, who decided to emboss the Karlsson’s logo and the classic laboratory measurement on the bottle but stick to the original silhouette."

Nutral

NNSS, an agency based in Argentina, designed this new line of natural and low-calorie products, Nutral.
The concept is based on nature. For this reason, the design of the packaging image was the skin of each natural product.
Check out their cookies packaging too!

Petite France

A joint collaboration with Zorica Radovic, Petter Hanberger came up with these simple and contemporary visual identity/package design for Petite France.
Petite France is bakery/pastry/lunch cafe at Kungsholmen in Stockholm. They are well known in the neighborhood for high quality and a genuine passion for pastries. We found the word "meet" relevant to resume Petite France; the dough meets the baker, the costumer meets the cafe, the bread meets the costumer, France meets Sweden etc. The result was a number of patterns meeting in a Petite France patchwork.
