Thirty Bench

This beautiful line was designed by Insite, it's Waterloo Dark packaging was featured earlier. This is a very recent re-brand from the ground up for a popular winery, Thirty Bench.

Canella

Italy based design agency RBA s.r.l. created this excellent touch of branding and packaging for Canella.

Nouvelle Peau

Very interesting concept that uses a rubber glove as part of the packaging.
Here's a nice concept developed in my packaging class by Benoît Frenette. Nouvelle Peau stands for New Skin and in this campaign, the company would give part of its profit to research for person burned to the third degree . The rubber glove is used as a package and act as a metaphor to the protection that the skin provides us, and emphasize the importance to protect it.

Talking Jazz Press Kit

I received a cool gift recently. It is Ben Sidran's talking jazz custom box set.
That's why this collection is something special. The 24 CDs orchestrated by Sidran document the speaking voice of jazz musicians in a way that's never really been approached. Individually, the conversations provide fascinating glimpses of creative minds at work, testing phrasings, hesitating at chasms, nailing down hard-won truths.

Soap & Paper Factory

I really love the packaging of my newly bought bath collection at the Soap & Paper Factory

Daub and Bauble

I really love these Daub and Bauble packaging because it has lovely "wallpaper patterns" instead of labels with lots of text descriptions and features.
Packaging design by : Wink. Don't forget to check out their Gift Cards design and you can request for their excellent case studies here too!

Marshall Field's Gift Cards

Wink designed these awesome limited edition collectible gift cards.
“Marshall Field’s teamed up with the Art Institute of Chicago to release a limited edition run of collectible gift cards, featuring famous art masterpieces from the Art Institute collection. We named the campaign Field’s Flora, since most of the artwork selected from the Art Institute involved floral paintings. Paper for the art card sleeves was selected to accommodate letterpress printing and give the impression that this may of been something pull out of a grandmother’s attic, like a vintage flower seed packet.

A store incentive piece was a limited edition numbered soap box which contained all four collectible gift cards. The soap box included a letter pressed card which allowed the guest to personalize the box as a gift. In addition, a direct mail brochure was mailed out to announce the Field’s Flora Art Card Campaign, as well as showcase new merchandise at Marshall Field’s.”

No doubt they will be noticed and start a conversation. Zuny products are hand-made and each portrays their own unique characteristics.

Soap and Glory

These very lovely Soap and Glory essentials are my favorite things in my bathroom!

ALB: Mange-Disque

This is not a retro toaster, it is a retro 45 record player called a “Univox Mange-Disque” and it is the debut album of French electro / folk / pop band ALB. The album, which was designed by bands lead signer Clément Daquin and his girlfriend/designer Emilie Vast, have generated a surprising amount of publicity for themselves.

Vera Wang Look Parfum Elixir

Thanks to Howard Rhee for sending in this lovely perfume packaging Monahan & Rhee did for Vera Wang.
For Vera Wang’s newest fragrance, Monahan & Rhee designed a secondary packaging program unique to the precious Parfum Elixir.

The two-box system for Look Parfum Elixir employs the watercolor paper of the product line, as well as its signature cool grey and bright orange color palette.

The bottle is nestled in a two-piece sliding tray carton that leverages the bold colors to present the bottle. The outer box utilizes the ribbon handle technique created by Monahan & Rhee for Vera Wang’s Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear Jewelry line. The product logo on the outer box is abstracted as a blind embossing, wrapping the entire exterior to present different cropped views.
