Kukai Tea

The aim of the brief was to come up with a brand identity and packaging for an organic tea packaging.
I've developed the brand identity Kukai Tea, designing the packaging for 3 flavours, (green tea, lemon tea and orange tea) using my illustrations and a simple squared box for the packaging.

Designed by Natalia Vitorino, Portugal.

Stock Prestige

The product strategy was to create a pure vodka - one defined by exclusivity and luxury - within the world-famous Stock brand, which, in Poland, had previously only been associated in with a popular brandy. The label, comprised of the main brand characteristics, was placed on the upper part of the bottle in order to highlight the specially-designed bottle's "multiple-reflection" effect.

Designed by BrandyDesign, Poland.

Brac Fini Sapuni

Brac Fini Sapuni is brand that produces high quality, unique and original soaps. It's also an original Croatian souvenir. To make it better as gift we have made a special packaging for it.
It's special packaging, appendix, that is added to an original soap.

Soaps are handmade and because of it I decided to make it in the same way - by hands. Once again, it must be packed by hands. Box can be closed with rope in any color. There are also small paper leaves with logo sign on it and any firm can promote itself with this gift solution.

Designed by Marin Santic, Croatia.

Divine

The packaging for these yummy handmade treats reflects the peaceful rolling hills, pure skies, and timeless olives groves from which they originate. Heavenly? Definitely. The Terra Cotta cruet that contains these Divine Olives has a hundred-and-one-uses and like the label, string, cork lid, wooden beads and wax seal; will biodegrade. The terrific and talented Lydia Leith made the illustration come to life. The words come from the great John Archer.

Vao Vao

New package design for New York City-based chocolate company designed by David Brier of DBD International.

Botanical Bakery

PROBLEM:
Gourmet packaging blended into the shelf, and looked too low-end to resonate with affluent foodie customer.
Existing logo was “been there, done that” so we wanted to develop a complete break from that stage of the company’s evolution.

SOLUTION:

Develop a new logo that would immediately distinguish this line of gourmet shortbread cookies.
Converted “Tea Cookies” language (very exclusive and alienating the larger consumer audience) on prior packaging to “Garden Shortbread Cookies”
Develop a package design that would create instant recognition, and make customers smile.

FUNCTION:

Package design for the San Francisco Fancy Food Show launch.

Designed by David Brier of DBD International.

WeR (Student Work)

The simplistic thinking in eco-packaging, would suggest that all it needs is to take a recycled Kraft cardboard and the job is done. Unfortunately, it's much more complicated than that and demonizing plastic over paper is another non-sense. In fact, there are as many solutions as there are different packages and each one should be developed taking into account production methods, materials, transportation and many other factors that ultimately determine the true lifecycle of the product.

However, the reduction approach remains the most easily measurable element of ecodesign. Indeed, by reducing the amount of material, it reduces the weight of the interventions in upstream and downstream production because there will be less material to produce, to collect and to recycle.

Recently, I asked my students to develop a package that consisted of grouping two products in an approach inspired by the 3Rs, Alexandre Michaud has developed this double pocket for a gel and body moisturizer for man. The word Wer means Man in Old English. I think it’s a very nice concept; what do you think?

Designed by Alexandre Michaud, a student of Sylvain Allard in the packaging class.

Qbel

The package for Qbel, a new line of natural chocolates, had to look fun and trigger the taste buds. The lettering and image are influenced by the German “Object Poster” of the 1900s.

Designed by Louise Fili Ltd, United States.

Monarchia Matt

Various Polaner Selections wine label designed by Jessica Hische and Louise Fili while working at Louise Fili Ltd., each with a ton of hand-lettered type.

Gin Mare

The Design Studio SeriesNemo (Barcelona) wants to present its latest product design, Gin Mare - The first and only Mediterranean gin. Gin Mare has been awarded with one BESTPACK (Alimentaria 2010) and one WORLD SPIRITS COMPETITION (International Competition in San Francisco).
The design of the bottle combines the straight and curvy ways with white and blue reflexes that suggest a synthesis between sea and sky, water and foam.
A singular bottle stopper wraps all the neck of the bottle strengthening thus its Premium character.

Mixed Emotions (Student Work)

The idea of this project is to sell emotions through a product. I selected a mix between a concoction and vodka. The concoction is a fruit blend that contains emotions such as love, sadness, happiness, fear and anger. The Mixed Emotions cocktail evokes an emotion and changes your attitude according to your preference.

The spiral structure forms two straws that invite the consumer to visualize how the liquids combine as they drink. Two tiny mecanisms outline the straws to bottom of the container, allowing air to enter and hence permitting the customer to absorb the liquid. The cap provides an air-tight seal, thus enclosing all openings.

While the front panel invites the consumer to drink, the back panel depicts phrases to illustrate the type of experience the customer will encounter. Because of its design, the consumers can dance, jump, go wild or do whatever they please without worrying about spilling their drink or breaking the bottle.

Designed by José Luis García Eguiguren, a student studying at Elisava Escola superior de disseny in Barcelona, Spain.

Women's Day

This is a gift we created for our female clients for the International Women's Day. The package was created to conceal a watch and look like a small bag, since we know girls love to shop. The copy goes like this: "Woman, a small gift for you who present us everyday"
