Cambria Juices

Thanks to Fernando Arendar for sending in this package design of Cambria Juices designed by Hangar Studio. I really love these cute little illustrations of the different fruits sitting on what I call a "giant fruit juice sucker". These juices are distributed in the east coast of USA and they are planning to expand their market soon.
Check out their Coronado bottle too!

Mela

Also designed by Jill Brunner.
A hand-painted bottle of apple-infused olive oil made in the idyllic Italian countryside. You can check out his "BARk" packaging too!

BARk

A very interesting piece of conceptualization by Jill Brunner.
A concept dog park and bar/cafe hybrid. Now, visits to the dog park are about relaxing in style instead of muddy shoes and damp benches.

Paperkingdom Coasters

This Coasters set, designed by Chris Trivizas, has been awarded at the international Red Dot competition for its Packaging Design in the Communication Design category.

All prize-winning works will be presented to the public in an exhibition taking place at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, from 4 December 2008 to 11 January 2009.

Heather Rosenfeldt (Student Work)

Heather Rosenfeldt, a student studying in Tyler School of Art, created these great looking design for her senior packaging class. I must say she'll get an abundance of job opportunities after her May 2009 graduation. (Psst, which is next month) You can check out more over at her Flickr.

My Senses

Thanks to Olivier Raymond for sending in this in.
Carel, a french clothing lines manufacturer for Babies & Kids, has chosen Bayadères, the new Consulting, Design & Communication group based in Paris, for creating the whole identity of a new european revolutionary brand : MySenses

Combining a patented ink technology developped by the Canadian brand LuvgearTM with a french clothes styling, Mysenses products are designed to protect europeans Babies and Children from daily events (UV exposure, hot liquids, fevers, …) while offering them modern and adorable outfits.

MySenses packaging and labels, emphasing both the functional and the emotional sides of the brand, were designed to explain clearly the innovating technologic process as well as to create an affective link with its european consumers.

Tate Modern

Fantastically designed by BB/Saunders.
When UBS announced their sponsorship of the Tate Modern, they did so with a spectacular launch party. It included the installation of a dozen cherry blossom trees in the great turbine hall, along with various bespoke pieces of art. In developing the visual language and promotional materials for the event, we made use of delicate paper folding and overprinting techniques to create an intricate layering effect.
